1.** Who is the boss?**
We, Crispin Mejia and Robert Taylor, opened Crispin’s with 14 years of experience in some of New York’s finest restaurants. Our goal is to offer consistently delicious dishes featuring homemade pasta, meats and seafood. In addition to our superb cuisine, our guests can experience a wide selection of wines. As we embark on our first year of operation, our focus is on exceeding your expectations through our food, our hospitality, and our comfortable atmosphere.
2. Tell us about the why and how behind Crispin’s accepting bitcoin?
The son of my partner suggested that bitcoin was the future of money. About seven years ago, 1 BTC was equivalent 1.00 USD. Today, 1 bitcoin is equivalent to approximately 350.00 USD!
We have an ATM on-site at Crispin’s for people who wish to purchase bitcoin. Beyond the ATM, Crispin’s accepts bitcoin as a form of payment when paying your cheque. Accepting bitcoin and having a bitcoin ATM on-site has brought resulted in heavy traffic for both purposes.
- If you walked into Crispin’s as a customer, what would you order off the menu?
Our fish options are easily my favorite dishes across the menu. I think the seafood is just great here. The red snapper, the monkfish, the whole branzino, and the salmon are all excellent and will not disappoint you!
Looking for neighborhood dining options? Be sure to visit Crispin’s to wind down after a long day of holiday shopping and festivities!
